Good news, only some of the older movies were letterboxed vertically. The newer 1080p movies are slightly letterboxed horizontally by Amazon’s transcoding pipeline in AWS. At any rate, after the ICO a Mastering QC technician will be hired and we will re-encode all these movies to zoom the letter-boxing out. I am a programmer, not a film technician.
